I write occasionally on topics that interest me, including technology, politics, religion, and other things sure to make for a pleasant, stress-free conversation with your neighbors.
I don’t necessarily believe some of the things I post here. Some days I may take different sides of an argument, usually when I see that one side is heaping piles of stinking bullshit up in leiu of facts, reason, or wisdom.
Politically, I have been a Republican most of my life. I enjoy reading presidential history; we get so caught up in the anger of the moment that we seldom understand the terrible dilemmas those 43 men have had to live with. Of late, I have been favoring democratic candidates, as the party of Abraham Lincoln, Eisenhower, and Reagan has become the party of Tom DeLay, Larry Craig, David Vitter, and Sarah Palin.
